Singapore

For our honeymoon, we went to Singapore.  Here are the things that I observed there:

• Really clean (same as Davao)
• Drivers give way to pedestrians
• They do not care what other people wear
• National fruit:  Durian (same as Davao's)
• National flower:  Waling-waling or something of the same family (same as Davao's)
• Taxi drivers give the exact change (same as Davao)
• No traffic (almost like Davao)
• Easy to commute
• There are a lot of places where you can hang out (same as Davao)

So I took note that they have a lot of similarities with Davao.  This simply means that I love it there.  We love it there.  We're actually thinking of moving there next year (if God permits).  I've always said in the past that I do not want to work abroad, but hey, Singapore is pretty near the Philippines.  We can go home once in a while.  Plus, there is a direct flight Singapore - Davao.

Bracing Myself For A Hectic Weekend

• Will have to clean the house and the bathroom before Mom arrives on Saturday.
• Will pick her up Saturday morning from the airport.
• Will go to the couturier in the afternoon to have her gown enhanced/embellished.
• Grocery shopping after that to prepare for the bridal shower at dinnertime.
• Bridal shower at home.  Japanese style.  I don't have chairs.
• Sunday.  Will buy white cloth as aisle runner for the ceremony.
• Will need to organize the gifts for the entourage.
• Will need to keep her sanity intact.

Lord, I need grace.
